The things around you may be trying to tell you something. We believe in the interconnectivity of all things. It is a well held belief that the plants that pop around us are there for a reason. Many people don't recognize the healing and medicinal plants in their own backyards! What are the plants in your environment trying to tell you? How can you support these teachers and cultivate new ones? 

Creation of a sacred healing space in your outdoor environment is an important step in reconnecting back to nature. Honoring what is while seeking to cultivate what we want are skills that can be used in gardening as well as in our lives. As always, the earth provides us with the metaphors to change our life.
